His and Hers
His late nights and her early mornings
His algorithms and her prose,
His wheat beers and her freshly brewed coffee
His daredevillry and her gentle poise.
Her curly crown and his sparse dome,
Her varan bhat and his chole naan,
His mince no words approach and her diplomatic charm,
His facts and her fiction.
Her black mole and his dimpled cheeks
His rock and roll and her classical soul.
It took (her) warm summers and (him) cold dark winters.
(His) Optimism and (her) discipline.
To realise that Marriage was not about keeping (our) scores but (our) musical symphony.
Taking turns to play a melodious harmony.
